Our volunteers keep our ministry running! 

We can't serve God's children without you!  At FUMC we have an awesome team of people, all ages, who love children and helping them to build their relationships with Jesus!  Volunteers serve in all capacities, from baby care in the Nursery, to leading Sunday School, from keeping track of supplies, to helping to plan events.  God has gifted us in many ways to work for Him and our ministry works best when we all share our gifts!

Our Children's Ministry Director at FUMC is Suzanne Thorenson. Suzanne has been a member of our church for almost 12 years, but only recently joined the staff.  In the last few years, she has volunteered in children's ministry, with the youth group and been on the Administrative Team. 

Suzanne believes that the key to children's ministry is family ministry and loves getting to know the kids, parents and volunteers! Suzanne and her husband Sean have two boys.  Mason is 8 and Chase is 5.
