RECENT MISSION PROJECT:
Holy Week Eggs
This year's Easter mission project was Holy Week Eggs. Holy Week Eggs are bags of eight eggs, one to open each day from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. Each egg contains an item to remind you of Jesus and the sacrifice He made for us the week of Easter.
The bags were put together by kids at our Wednesday night SPARKS program. Proceeds from eggs sales went to purchase soccer balls for our Vacation Bible School mission project through Operation Kid to Kid.
Altogether, we sold 100 bags of eggs, raising over $530.00! That was enough to purchase 50 soccer balls for kids in South Africa and Bolivia! We also had a generous family in our church purchase some air pumps to be sent with the balls. God was really working in the hearts of people at FUMC!
Thank you for sharing Jesus this Easter by supporting our Holy Week Egg project!
